Recap - March 8, 2020 Songlist / Attendees

David - Piano
Julie - Jam Coordinator / Vocal
Thor - Jam Coordinator / Guitar / Bass

This was the first time that we had a lot of last minute cancellations. In addition to a few specific circumstances that were communicated, speculation was that some other cancellations were due to: daylight savings, corona-virus scare.

NONETHELESS,,,

David the piano player showed up and together with Julie on vocals and Thor on guitar and (occasionally drums) we had a great session!

Songs we played:

It's Too Late - Carole King
Killing Me Softly - Roberta Flack
That's The Way I Always Thought It Should Be - Carly Simon
Whiter Shade Of Pale - Procol Haram
Pinball Wizard - The Who
Baba O'Reilly - The Who

Julie had to leave a little early. For the following tunes, David and Thor took sections of a particular song and used it as a template for exploring improvisation:
Can't Find My Way Home - Blind Faith / E. C. Was Here version
Joy To The Word - Three Dog Night
Closer To Home (I'm Your Captain) - Grand Funk Railroad
Your Song - Elton John
F - Bb - Ab - Gm7 - Original tune based on an impromtu "noodle" by David
